I haven't seen Milk and I'm not sure I've seen anything else this guy has directed, but that quote makes him awesome.

I know, right? XD All the publicity makes it sound like this serious gay rights drama and the director is like "ALL-SINGING ALL-DANCING PAPERBOYS WHOOHOO". (Not to mention the fact that Newsies is, well.... pretty gay. *g*)
