Mm, currant buns. Yamapi's thoughts wandered.

"Now at the rate of two creampuffs per one slice of cheesecake, and three eclairs per decorated sponge cake, that makes a biweekly payment of..." Jin paused. His eyes went slightly vacant as he tried to calculate.

"Fifty eclairs," Yamapi said. "Or ninety creampuffs." Ninety creampuffs. The thought arrested him in a happy daze.

"I can't do math," Jin said. "How many slices of cheesecake in a whole?"

*dies* Funny you should mention that just as I'm reading one of astolat's Merlin fics -- but no, I actually haven't seen any of the actual show yet! Just used it as fic fodder. XD I'm still working my way through Doctor Who and Torchwood, and I blitzed through the first couple seasons of The West Wing around inauguration. ;D I imagine that sooner or later I'm going to end up watching Merlin (and liking it) when someone sits me down and shows it to me -- it just hasn't happened yet!

The West Wing is amazing. If only I had time to rewatch it, but I am busy with current Japanese and Western shows.

I plowed right through the first four seasons in -- well, a shockingly short amount of time, ahem -- and now I'm scared to see what comes next, since I hear once Aaron Sorkin and the other guy left it went downhill a bit. Plus one of my two favorite characters was Sam, SO THAT WAS DEPRESSING. (As my other favorite is CJ that at least should be fine. Yay CJ. ♥) But when my parents and I end up talking about politics/current events I keep saying, "Something just like that happened on The West Wing -- "
