I don't know how much more endorsement you need. XD They perform on roller skates. They wear sparkly feathery headbands. They do backflips on said roller skates. SMAP, as fresh-faced little juniors, are their backup dancers. THIS IS A PIECE OF JOHNNY'S HISTORY. You want - no, need to download it.

No problem! :DD Yeah, I'm just starting to see how hard it is to get ahold of their video! And you're right, I was sticking to the current guys and the juniors, although I was always kind of morbidly curious about the older groups, but the senpais have finally got me. XD I defy anyone to resist the allure of rainbow 80's pop!

...Or 70's. Or 60's. I see Four Leaves in my future.

Juniors are love but no one can beat the senpais at their own game XD You should try to get a hold of Shounentai, that's easier than Hikaru Genji ^.~
Then soon there will be Matchy, who's kind of ultimate and if you make it to Four Leaves there's not much left but it will get harder and harder to get a hold of stuff as you go.
Don't forget Otokogumi, The Good-Bye, The (lovely) Tanokin Trio who all had solo careers soon XD, Go Hiromi and Shibugakitai (where I have yet to get my hands on anything substantial *sigh*) oh and somewhere in there is Ninja but they don't really count as senpais. (And the original Johnny's OMG)
Uhm... I would gladly lead you further down this dark but sparkly rainbow-colored path but... uni life is killing me atm ;_;

Oh no, I definitely include the 90s! :D But I can say that until recently I had never ventured earlier than SMAP. XD Although of course I've heard of some of these groups/singers and definitely heard covers of their songs, I'm just now getting into audio and video. ;D Thank you for the list - some of those names are new! Don't let uni kill you. XD
