Most recent find: Motel, from Mexico. Can't figure out who they remind me of (and their sound does remind me v. strongly of someone-or-something in particular), can't stop listening to their two extant albums.

Villa made out just fine, getting signed by Barcelona, but Silva got flogged off to Manchester City. City is a target of widespread derision because they got bought by a Middle Eastern billionaire who can afford to pour incredible amounts of money into the club and buy up everyone on the transfer market, but they have yet to produce the results that an expensive team of superstars should produce. XD; Plus, they're in Manchester. So in summary: Villa = one of the top teams in the world, just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from home; Silva = bad food, bad weather, bad football, foreign culture, foreign language, etc. skjda;s I mean I love Villa a lot too so I'm glad he's made out well and is properly appreciated and all (though I wish it was basically anywhere but with Barca arghhhhhhhhh), it's just.... SILVA WHY COULDN'T THEY KEEP YOU IN SPAIN. Or send you somewhere that got a little respect. Or somewhere that would win things. *tears at hair*

You know my first thought when I saw the words "Traumatic International Move" - was of your int'l. move and I was aghast that it was traumatic. Ahahaha. So glad you're writing about other people and their traumatic international moves since I feel fairly confident yours will be a happy one. You leave in a few days, right? ♥
