I'm getting restless feet again - looking at ticket prices and asking conveniently placed friends "hypothetical" questions. This is why I rely on piracy am a miser most of the year, so I can obey flights of fancy when winter gets oppressive.


The postseason is upon us and Cornell stomped on Harvard two nights in a row to advance to conference playoffs next week mwahahahaha. First season in 115 years of (one-sided? XD) rivalry that Cornell's won every match with Harvard. Ahhh the sweet taste of victory.

PLUS today in quarterfinals Brown, seeded #11 and 8-17-4 in the regular season, knocked out Yale, seeded #1 and 20-7-3 ahahahahaha omg it's like a giant gift box tied up with a red ribbon just for us.* And Union won their QF series against Quinnipiac despite losing Friday's game in five overtimes. I'm kind of amazed they could even skate out on to the ice the next day. ^^;

YEAH BIG RED! My sister says it was... well, as happy as it could be on campus. It's been a hard time there lately (I don't know if you've heard any of the news from there?).

There's been three deaths by gorge this semester, two in the past week. They've got guards/observers on all the main bridges to keep an eye out and to help people who are understandably freaked out. Also, my sister says all of her assignments keep getting pushed back now (prelims? what prelims?).

Hey, even if I'm gone, I've got a sister who will be there for two more years, so I'm sure I can hook you up somehow. <3

Five overtimes?? That's craziness. Please come visit me! Yay! We have really good hockey here too! Of course not as good as all these ridiculous D 1 teams, but still good! And you could watch quidditch, because it starts up again soon. And.... that would be about it for Vermont. :-) Oh, there are lots of cows and mountains to look at as well I guess. Haha, sound at all appealing? Maybe?

Also, England's quite nice this time of year...err..or I've heard it will be, once Spring hits. The weather seems undecided right now, swinging from warm-ish and sunny to rainy and cold...:-p But um...y'know, if you're looking for places to go. Even got an air mattress you can crash on! *huggles*

I think this is my mother's strategy for avoiding winter by chasing the sunshine. Where do you think your flights of fancy might take you this time? Anywhere exciting? ^_^

Awwww thanks. <3 My summer plans are still up in the air, except for camp in Canada, which is going to be 4 weeks in June. I think I'm coming home for like a week before then. I applied to work at Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop in August. What a great name for a bakery, right? Hopefully that will work out. Oh, you'll be happy to know that I am definitely NOT working for the AK Channel again! So I won't have to run off every Sunday, and I think I'll be considerably less stressed. Have you heard about JET yet??
