Okay! I was mostly wondering if you got as far as Hayato and his father, because in my opinion those were some of the better scenes. :D (and of course there's the whole getting on their knees begging to let Ryu graduate but since the consistency of that characterization is debatable... really the good part of that episode is Hayato throwing rocks at Ryu's window. ♥)
And I understand what you mean about the first series - it was actually the first jdrama I ever watched, I randomly downloaded the first episode from my college's DC++ hub (SARS was in the middle of subbing it at the time) and it was love at first sight. So I finished it and my friend was all "and there's a second season airing in Japan right now!! - oh but none of the characters are the same - but there are two that are in a boyband and they're really pretty and gay - " and I was all "LALALALA CANNOT HEAR YOU." So I refused to watch it for ages. XD In the end I ended up skipping most of the scenes that didn't have to do with the boys because they were all same-ish and not as good as the first season.
