skjadlsjkldsd well I probably won't finish all of these, either. really I just wanted to read everyone's ideas.

so it keeps going and talks about the other cliques but then I couldn't get to a good stopping point so I had to back up here for now... there is actually more written, though, so it'll come later.

It was funny, Shige thought bitterly, how Tegoshi was the secretary yet he, Shige, ended up taking all the minutes. Not that anyone read them.

“We’ll take a vote,” Yamapi said. “Ryo?”

“All in favor, raise your hand and say ‘aye’, all opposed, stand up so I can see who you are and remember your face,” said Ryo. “All in favor?”

A loud chorus of ‘ayes’ rang through the room, accompanied by a forest of hands. Ryo, Shige could tell, didn’t even bother counting. “All opposed?”

Silence.

Ryo leaned back in his chair and smirked. “Motion passed,” he said to Yamapi.

Yamapi beamed. “Thank you, Vice President Nishikido. We’ll implement the new cafeteria standards next week. Meeting dismissed.”

The class representatives trickled out the door in twos and threes. They all smiled back at Yamapi. They all avoided Ryo.

When the classroom was empty except for the six members of the student council, Yamapi clapped his hands. “This meeting of the Executive Student Body Council is hereby called to order. Massu?”

Massu carefully pulled something wrapped in a canvas bag out from under his seat and brought it to the table at the front of the room from which Yamapi presided. He peeled back the folds of the bag, revealing a glass dish clouded with steam, and with a small flourish removed the cover.

Yamapi’s eyes lit up and he said reverently, “Meat buns.

No one was exactly sure what Massu did, or how he got onto student council in the first place, but since he catered every meeting no one was going to ask.

Shige had no objections to refreshments, especially not the sort of refreshments Yamapi demanded. It was a meeting, however, not a lunch break, and after a few minutes to appreciate the meat buns he thought that maybe it was time to get on with the agenda. They had to review several applications for new extracurricular clubs, after all, and coordinate the set-up for the school talent show next month, and Koyama had said something about yet another fundraiser, and no one had looked at the suggestion box for months

Shige had to pause and take several deep breaths. He wondered how many high school students had to worry about developing stress migraines.

He glanced over at the president. Yamapi was on the phone and talking to Ryo at the same time – he had a huge, shit-eating grin on his face and Ryo was rolling his eyes a lot, which probably meant he was talking to Akanishi, and also probably meant they were planning another party for the weekend. Neither of them showed any inclination to get down to business.

Shige hadn’t even run for student council. He’d been elected treasurer anyways.
