HAHAHAH NO, NO, I'M AFRAID NOT. We were too late for that. XD Alaska was full of, like, goldminers and hunters and opportunists. Mountain men. That sort of thing. (Slightly better by the time powerlines actually existed but still a lot of people who came up to make money and such. XD)

No, no, I jest, Anchorage isn't that bad. :D It usually doesn't drop below zero for more than two to four weeks around January/February. Most of the time it's in the low to mid teens. :D
