Please don't be scared by, um, all the text because you are of course free to discard every single thing on this page. And if you're not interested in football, most of it doesn't matter, anyway! *g* As far as I'm concerned, if you're excited to write something, I'll be excited to read it, so go with what you feel most inspired by. :)
My general preferences are basically I don't like relationship angst-for-angst's-sake and I'm not terribly into kink. I prefer endings shading from optimistic to downright happy. I do like plotty fic but please don't feel it's a requirement. Aaaand that's about it. Thank you, again and again!

Ahaha I know I sounded desperate but truly and honestly no pressure to go with the pairing option. The all-cast interaction is a big part of the appeal of Antique and a story about, for example, the inevitably hilarious interviews of potential new staff after Gi-beom's move to France would be great. Howeeeever, if you wanted to write Jin-hyuk/Sun-woo, I would be a very very happy little Yuletider. And (it can't hurt to throw this out there, right?) if you wanted to write my pet idea, in which Jin-hyuk's family get the wrong idea and think Jin-hyuk and Sun-woo really are shacking up and that Sun-woo is, like, their new son-in-law - because obviously they would get on like a house afire - I would probably expire with glee. But I emphasize I in no way expect you to write to spec and as long as you like your idea I will like it too. :)

The request was fairly straightforward, I think. :D I'll just add, if I had a preference it would be closer to Secret Adversary/Partners in Crime era (or backstory!) than to N or M?/Postern of Fate era, but once again - if you've got an idea, run with it!

This is going to be the long one, in the interests of providing a multiplicity of options, because there is a ridiculous amount of material here. Once again: no need to follow anything here if you've got a great idea on your own! I would love fic heavy with canon detail and soccer talk, or I would love cracked-out AUs, or I would love silly off the pitch hijinks - anything goes, really. I'm about to list a lot of players and situations, but honestly, if there are characters (so to speak) about whom you are particularly knowledgeable and particularly excited, please write about them and I can guarantee I'll love it, because this has happened before. And I find that tends to make for, y'know, really good stories. :D
The character I did specify in the end was David Silva, because if I were forced to choose he'd be my favorite. I love that he's so quiet and unassumingand adorable off the field and yet incredibly feisty on it. I have a marked preference for Villa/Silva, it's true, and I would proooobably explode with glee if you felt moved to tackle that. (Or, you know, mentioned it in the background, or... I'm easy, okay.) Having said that, any kind of Silvafic - any genre, any pairing, past, present, future, etc. - is welcome with open arms.
Actually, pretty much any Spainfic is great. Current NT hijinks? Yes! Tiny Raúl and Guardiola et al.? Yes! The EPL contingent meeting up in London? Yes! Heck, classic Ramos/Torres? SURE. Similarly, I love Real Madrid a whole lot and any kind of fic about them would make me v. happy, be it Khedira and Ozil adjusting to Spain, Sergio Canales wondering what on earth he's gotten himself into, Galacticos-era fic with Zidane and Figo and Raúl and Guti and Mori, Cristiano Ronaldo's ridiculous and unlikely friendship with Kaka, or just - general RM madness.
I think this is already too long. But, quickly, if you get tired of Spain before December, I love me some Germans, old and new school (current era Schweinsteiger/Podolski? yes please!), and also all of AC Milan. Particularly Alessandro Nesta. Then there's the Japanese NT past and present (write about the complicated relationships between Nakamura, Nakata and Honda and earn in me a willing slave) and - see, I wasn't kidding when I said I was about to list a lot of names. XD
What else? As far as pairings are concerned, knock yourself out. The only caveat I have is n-no Villa/Raúl, please. I'm sorry, it's literally the only pairing I have yet to be able to read. D:
I ask only one other thing, which is if you end up writing Spainfic, no bashing of Real Madrid, please, as I love them and am quite sensitive about it. (Author-condoned bashing, at least; obviously there are certain characters for whom that is an integral part of their personality. naming no names. *g*) Thank you, thank you, thank you again for tackling this fandom and its cast of thousands!
