I started the first one - well, I started this whole story a little over a year ago, right after I saw the whole series for the first time, but only the first scenario survived from the original. Yes, that's playing with what might have happened without Yankumi. Stopped where it did because it can't end well; I don't think Hayato would have the patience to see it through in the long term, no matter how good his intentions. I think he'd eventually crack and I doubt it would be pretty. ^^; (Not to mention the issue of academic achievement... since the series seems to ignore it I do too but could he really graduate just by showing up every day? XD;) And yes, it's another competition he can't let Ryu win, especially now.
