This is/was my first David Villa POV of any length and it was SO MUCH FUN, omg, so I'm very happy that you liked his characterization, too! And obviously, David Silva -- the whole genesis of this fic was that I felt like I'd been writing him pining too much and needed to switch it around so Villa was the one totally smitten. So it was also great fun to write Silva basically owning everyone and everything. :)
