The two-part miniseries is more or less the pilot, and if you happened to be looking for a download instead of obtaining it through legal means, cough cough, the best place to look would be bsg_episodes. Or at various other general tv/movie sharing comms. It is really, really good imho -- like Firefly-level good, if you've seen that. (Although there is less witty banter and more gritty realism and, uh, entire populations dying.) The first season is also very, very good and tightly plotted. And if you get through that and are still interested then I'll talk about the other seasons. XD
