I don't even know what to say this. What a wonderful, wonderful comment to come home to - and yes, yes, yes, you are completely, 100% right. Yamapi loves Jin very deeply but not in a sexual way. He wants to make everything all right, but he can't - as frustrating as it is to be powerless, he has to just, yes, be there for Jin.

With Jin going to America - I still don't know if that part came across right. I was trying to show that the sacrifices Takki's making are basically hollow - he's more or less given up personal happiness for his showbiz career, and that's crumbling around his ears. So Jin has this sudden realization, in a few years that could be me, and runs off to America to live just for himself. In the end he makes the choice to come back, and it remains to be seen whether he navigate that successfully or not.
