I almost love this enough to finish watching the drama.
1. Sometimes I HATE TEACHERS. Grrr. But I love the group dynamic sans Ryu. His absence is so much of a presence.
2. THIS IS SO SAD. :(( I can see Hayato lashing out like this and Ryu giving it right back to him and winning. Because in the end, Hayato is that much more wounded and he can't play the game as well because it's not so much a game as gnawing his hand off. :((
3. I love how this compares to 1. Hayato is the clown and the rabble-rouser and very obviously the leader. And then there's Ryu, and he's the voice of reason and Hayato wants so very much to make him smile and all the boys shut up and listen to him when he speaks. This was why I started watching the drama: the idea of a group with two very different leaders. Also, I love how Hayato sends the boys off howling war cries and then falls in step with Ryu. It's the whole group dynamic in one sentence. &hearts

5. I LOVE THIS. This is how life should have gone. I feel bad for Ryu missing out on Yankumi but hey, he turned out all right. And despite the beginning awkwardness, he's so amused and fascinated by everyone and how they tease each other and beat each other up that you can almost see him getting sucked into the group. They just met but Hayato still delights in making him smile and the boys still shut up and listen when he speaks and it's just... it's everything that I loved about the drama.
