Well, I liked it in theory, I guess. I liked all of the main 3-D characters, and I thought the teachers in G2 were better (Shiratori-sensei falling for Tetsu was brilliant, and her "giving" Yankumi Kujo-sensei was great), but overall it just felt really lacking somehow. The end was kind of a let-down somehow.
But of course, Hayato and Ryu shone in it. And it was even better that it was Jin and Kame. I liked how it was clear Hayato was the leader of the class like Sawada was, but the quiet snarky influence Ryu had over him was great. Maybe because it made them look like an old married couple...
